Computer File Formats

We accept computer files in the following programs in both PC and MAC formats. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PDF, Macromedia Freehand 10, Corel Draw and Quark Xpress.

If fonts are used in your publication, please convert text to paths or supply the fonts with your files.

When sending files, make sure they are set up properly. Files must be set up with correct color separations. DO NOT send files in RGB. RGB files will not separate properly. PDF Files must have all fonts embedded in your PDF. Make sure you check your settings prior to making a PDF to make sure no compression is used. JPG compression will result in an RGB image and cannot be used. We may not be able to fix your PDF file if it is not set up properly.

Also, if you are exporting to a PDF from Corel Draw, you MUST save the text as paths in order to be able to output correctly.

Always check your files before sending to us. Manipulation of your files will be an additional charge and may delay your order. Our customer service department will notify you of any problems or delay.
